Galapa Guide As you might expect, transportation to and from the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador is pretty limited. Up until 2008, there is two airlines (TAME and AEROGAL) that flew from the Ecuador mainland to the islands. Now, though, there is not possibilities to get to the islands by ship.
Go Visit Galapagos The best way to get to the Galapagos is to land in Quito, the capital of Equador or in Guayaquil and then catch a domestic flight to the islands via the government-run TAME Airlines. TAME offers two daily flights to the Isla Baltra Airport via Guayaquil and flies to the Isla San Cristobal Airport three times a week. The Isla Baltra Airport is the main hub of air traffic in the Galapagos, while the Isla San Cristobal Airport offers an alternate traveling route for those wishing to escape the crowds.
Discover Galapagos Flights to Galapagos depart daily from both Quito and Guayaquil. We will arrange the Galapagos flight for you. The owners of the boats in Galapagos block book spaces on these flights to ensure our passengers are on the flight to meet the boat. You will fly to Galapagos in the morning of first day of the cruise and return to the mainland in the afternoon of the last day of the cruise.
